Volunteer Information

A Volunteer is someone who donates hours of service to a non profit agency with no promise of compensation except for the personal reward gained from being of service.

SDRC actively recruits people from the community who are interested in volunteering their time and talents to the regional center to enhance the services we provide and help improve the lives of persons with developmental disabilities.

Volunteers are needed to fill a variety of roles. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

Volunteers are needed at each outreach office, so you can volunteer near where you live.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, contact the SDRC Volunteer Coordinator by calling 858-576-2966 or e-mail: svbishop@sdrc.org
