ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under direction of an Office Manager, will perform administrative support involving a wide variety of daily activities using various software applications. Will plan, organize, and carry out own work, and work in coordination with other staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years secretarial experience. One (1) year Microsoft Office skills experience or Microsoft Office proficiency certificate.

Excellent telephone, interpersonal, soft people skills, active listening for good customer service; critical thinking for good decision making. Flexible, takes initiative; ability to work in a team setting. Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment, organize work, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, problem-solve, and pay close attention to detail, and utilize good time management. Knowledge of standard office practices, principles and processes; excellent typing, spelling, grammar and punctuation skills. Experience with scanning equipment a plus.

STAFF PSYCHOLOGIST

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa Office.

DUTIES:

Under the direction of the Coordinator, Psychology Services, the Staff Psychologist provides consultation, to Case Management staff regarding diagnostic assessment, eligibility and in their ongoing efforts to support individuals with developmental disabilities. The Staff Psychologist assists in reviewing psychological evaluations, and assists the Developmental Disabilities Screening Team in determining eligibility; participates in the appeals process and performs other duties as assigned. In special situations, he/she conducts psychological evaluations and/or gathers additional information for eligibility purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Educational Psychology. Possession of a current Psychologist License issued by the California Board of Psychology.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of experience conducting psychological or neuropsychological assessments of individuals with developmental disabilities.

STARTING SALARY:

$5,414 – $5,955 Monthly

FISCAL ASSISTANT V

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Fiscal Supervisor, the Fiscal Assistant V will download, review, and evaluate Purchase of Service (POS) requests, input requested changes to existing authorizations, and generate invoices to vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of practical related experience in fiscal record keeping. Experience in computerized statistical reporting or electronic billing and payment is desired. Associate degree in Accounting and hands on experience with computerized accounting systems or electronic billing and payment systems may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology; general office procedures; Excel and data base systems; thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the internet; knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data; accuracy with mathematical calculations; define and problem solve. Ability to work independently and use independent judgement. Expertise with attention to detail, accuracy and speed; follow oral and written instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
