PROGRAM MANAGER

Full-time position located in our Chula Vista/Eastlake office

DUTIES:

Under general direction of the Regional Manager, Associate or Director, Case Management Services, this position is assigned supervisory responsibility for a group of Service Coordinators and/or other case management staff; oversees the planning, assignment, scheduling, coordination and quality of each employee’s work, providing guidance and training; assures that the highest quality timely service is provided to SDRC clients and their families; communicates issues in the provision of services to other departments and management duties staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in the field of human services, health services, special education, or management.

EXPERIENCE:

At least four (4) years experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity with at least one (1) year of supervisory or management experience; or at least five (5) years experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity; and the completion of a formal management or leadership training program with at least 20 training hours.

STARTING SALARY:

$6,476 Monthly

FISCAL ASSISTANT V

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Fiscal Supervisor, the Fiscal Assistant V will download, review, and evaluate Purchase of Service (POS) requests, input requested changes to existing authorizations, and generate invoices to vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of practical related experience in fiscal record keeping. Experience in computerized statistical reporting or electronic billing and payment is desired. Associate degree in accounting and hands on experience with computerized accounting systems or electronic billing and payment systems may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology; general office procedures; Excel and data base systems; thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the internet; knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data; accuracy with mathematical calculations; define and problem solve. Ability to work independently and use independent judgement. Expertise with attention to detail, accuracy and speed; follow oral and written instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

PHYSICIAN CONSULTANT

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under the general administrative direction of the Director of Clinical Services, responsible for medical and health diagnostic and consultation services for developmentally disabled clients served by the San Diego Regional Center. Provide supervision to part-time physicians and dental coordinators. Oversight of physicians vendored to provide medical evaluations and the genetics counselor contracted position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a valid license to practice medicine in California issued by the State Board of Medical Examiners. Must be certified by specialty board, such as Pediatrics, Neurology or Internal Medicine.

EXPERIENCE:

Four (4) years of training and experience in the field of developmental disabilities or related field, including one year of administrative or supervisory experience.

Ability to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of persons with developmental disabilities; work as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team; and communicate complex medical information in a useful manner to clients, family members or other individuals or agencies entitled to such information.

SERVICE COORDINATOR

Full-time positions located in our San Diego (Kearny Mesa), Carmel Mountain, Carlsbad, Santee, Chula Vista (Eastlake), and National City offices

DUTIES:

Under direction of the Program Manager, provides overall service coordination to assigned clients; participates in the assessment of the needs of persons with developmental disabilities; acts as team leader and facilitates the development, implementation and coordination of an Individual Program Plan (IPP)/Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP); assists in locating and securing services and supports; acts as an advocate; evaluates and monitors the quality and effectiveness of services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS or Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required. Two years related work experience, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities required for BA/BS Degrees.

STARTING SALARY:

BA/BS Entry Level $3,642 Monthly
Master’s Entry Level $4,188 Monthly
