Self-Determination Project Update for October 2018:

The Department is pleased to announce that the initial 2,500 participants for the Self-Determination Program have been selected.

The Department will mail notification letters to all individuals to communicate their selection status. To find out if you were selected to participate, you may enter your UCI (Unique Client Identifier) number at SDP Verification.

Self Determination Project General Information:

1) Department of Developmental Services – Find information about the Self -Determination Program, including a video in a variety of languages, implementation updates, FAQs, and how the enrollment process will work.

2) Implementation Updates – You can enroll in an Email List to receive Self-Determination implementation updates, as they become available on the DDS website.

3) Local Advisory Committee – The San Diego Chapter usually meets once per month at 4355 Ruffin Road, Ste. 100, San Diego, CA and are open to the public. The meeting agenda will be posted prior to the meeting and will list the date, time and location. Meeting minutes are posted as they are approved. If you need translation please email us at at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and indicate what language you need.

The next meeting of the Local Advisory Committee is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at 4355 Ruffin Road, Suite 100/101, San Diego, CA 92123.
