SURVEYS
Community Resource Development Plan
Each fiscal year, San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) submits its plan to the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for its Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP). The projects we request are based on input from our Community Needs Survey that is sent out to our community each year.
We seek input (by completing a 2 minute survey) from individuals served , families, vendors, and SDRC staff about which types of services to develop to address unmet needs. We use this input as a guiding tool to determine which CRDP projects to request DDS to provide special funding for its development. Once our projects are approved, we will post Request for Proposals (RFP) for any projects.
The National Core Indicator (NCI) Survey is currently underway!
This year’s survey is the Adult In-Person Survey. This survey is conducted face-to-face with individuals 18 years and older who receive at least one funded service from San Diego Regional Center (SDRC). The responses are collected by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and shared with the State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD). It will be used to help regional centers and DDS understand how services and supports impact participants and their families, and areas of improvement.
The survey takes place November 2024 through June 2025. This is voluntary and representatives from SCDD will make contact with SDRC participants who meet survey criteria. We need a minimum of 400 participants. Your feedback is important.
