Employment First
āEmployment Firstā means that the preferred option for people with disabilities is to work in regular jobs in the community, earning competitive wages. It is based on the belief that everyone can work, no matter the level of their disability. This session will highlight competitive integrated employment (CIE) and the services and opportunities available in San Diego.

Supported Decision Making
Supported Decision-Making (SDM) is a process where individuals with disabilities make their own life choices with help from a trusted network of supporters. Instead of transferring decision-making power to a legal guardian, SDM empowers the individual to retain their rights, autonomy, and self-determination.

Social Recreation
Social Recreation, Camps and Non-Medical Therapies are an excellent opportunity for individuals served and their families to attend activities in their community of their interests. Come learn about different options, ideas and how to access services.

TAY – What to Expect?
Transition Aged Youth (Ages 13 - 22) is a unique time in an individual's life. This session will dive into the different components of this time of a person's life - Adult Options, Department of Rehab, Employment Services, Life after High school, etc.

Self Determination Program
Self-Determination is a new way to imagine, plan, and live your life. It offers more authority over what services you buy, what those services look like, and how much you pay for them. It's an opportunity to think outside the box and be creative - what do you want your life to look like and what do you need to make that happen? Whether you decide to use regional center providers or find your own, Self-Determination means YOU are in the driver's seat.
